The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for Undergraduate (UG) General Test is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to facilitate admission into various undergraduate programs across Central and State Universities in India.
About Exam
What is CUET 2024?
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is an examination conducted by the National Testing Agency for admission to undergraduate programs at different central universities and other institutions. It must be noted that there is a separate examination conducted, called CUET PG, for admission to postgraduate programs. CUET UG exam date 2024 is May 15 to May 24, 2024. CUET application form 2024 will be released soon by NTA at cuet.samarth.ac.in.
Latest Updates:
- The CUET 2024 exam will be conducted on May 29 for over 220 students from Kanpur.
- The CUET exam for Delhi NCR students will also be conducted on May 29.
- NTA has released fresh CUET admit cards for students who filled out the application form from Delhi NCR.
CUET Application Form 2024
Eligible candidates can fill out the application form available on the official website. NTA is responsible for releasing the application form for the CUET 2024 exam. Interested aspirants can check the steps to fill out the application form below:
- Visit the official website of CUET or NTA
- Register on the official website using personal details like name, parents name, email ID, mobile number, and permanent address
- After filling out these details, applicants must create a password.
- Once registered, log in with the required credentials to access the application form.
- Fill out personal and education details and choose university, program, and subject of your preference in the application form
- Upload necessary documents including passport-size photograph, signature, and Class X & XII marksheets.
- Pay the CUET application fee
- Submit the application form

CUET UG Eligibility 2024
Candidates wishing to appear for the CUET 2024 exam must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the National Testing Agency. The eligibility requirement to appear for the exam involves nationality, age limit, and educational qualifications. Interested students can check the eligibility criteria for the exam below:
- Aspiring candidates must have passed 10+2/equivalent examination or appearing in 2024.
- As per the official notification, "Candidates who have completed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside India or from a Board not specified above should produce a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination."
- There is no age limit to appear for the CUET exam.
- The number of attempts a candidate may take is unrestricted. Candidates may appear for the exam as many times as desired as long as they meet all other qualifying conditions.
Notes:
Besides fulfilling the above-stated requirements, candidates must also fulfil the criteria of respective universities and colleges for different programs. These eligibility criteria can be checked on the official website of the respective institutes.

CUET UG Syllabus 2024
Understanding the CUET syllabus is important if any candidate is wishing to appear for the exam. Interested candidates can check the syllabus in the table below:

CUET UG Admit Card 2024
Only candidates who successfully register for the exam will receive the CUET admit card. The admit card has important details that must be verified by candidates. Below are the steps to download the admit card:
- Go to the CUET/NTA's official webpage.
- On the homepage, choose the CUET 2024 Admit Card link.
- To access the admission card, enter the ID and password.
- After logging in, the computer screen will display the admission card.
- Save and download the admission card.
- Print out your admission card.

CUET UG Answer Key 2024
Along with the results, the CUET final answer key is also made public. The provisional answer key is also made available by NTA prior to the publication of the final answer key. Candidates will have the chance to make their claim for their incorrect answer by challenging the provisional answer key. For each challenged answer, students are asked to pay a fee of INR 200.
CUET UG Result 2024
Following the exam's successful conclusion, the results are released publicly. Scorecards are used to announce the results. Using their login information, candidates who took the exam can check their results on the official website. To check the CUET result 2024, follow these steps:
- Visit the National Testing Agency (NTA's) or CUET's official websites.
- Select the link for the CUET 2024 Results.
- Log in with your application number and password.
- Following the submission of the information, a scorecard will appear on your screen.
- Save and download the scorecard.
- Print a copy of the scorecard for your records.

CUET UG Cutoff 2024
The CUET UG 2024 cut-off lists for each participating Central University will be published individually on the NTA's website, cuet.samarth.ac. For the CUET counselling phase, only applicants who meet the cutoff are approached. Candidates taking the CUET 2024 test should be knowledgeable about the CUET previous year Cut Off in order to determine their chances of admission.

CUET UG Counselling 2024
Selected candidates are informed of the counselling phase once the CUET results are announced. Participating institutions will upload the admission form on their respective websites following the announcement of the results. Filling out the relevant admission forms is required for students who want to enrol in these colleges and universities. Each participating college carries out the counselling on its own.
Candidates who are interested might check the counselling procedure below:
- Those who are eligible to participate in the CUET 2024 counselling process will be listed in a rank list that is published by each participating institute.
- Candidates must first register online, then appear for online counselling followed by in-person counselling.
- When seats are allocated, applicants must pay the admission fee and appear at the institutes to get the admission offer.
