IBPS RRB PO Exam Syllabus

Preliminary Exam:

  • Reasoning: Puzzles, seating arrangement, inequalities, syllogism, coding-decoding, blood relations, direction sense, order and ranking.
  • Quantitative Aptitude: Number series, simplification/approximation, quadratic equations, data interpretation, data sufficiency, mensuration, probability, arithmetic problems.

Mains Exam:

  • Reasoning: Machine input-output, logical reasoning, puzzles, seating arrangement, inequalities, syllogism, coding-decoding, blood relations, direction sense, order and ranking.
  • Quantitative Aptitude: Complex data analysis, number series, simplification/approximation, quadratic equations, data interpretation, data sufficiency, mensuration, probability, arithmetic problems.
  • General Awareness: Current affairs, banking awareness, static GK.
  • English/Hindi Language: Reading comprehension, cloze test, error spotting, sentence improvement, para jumbles, fill in the blanks.
  • Computer Knowledge: Basic computer terminology, Internet, MS Office, etc.
